Two Souls Added!

Yesterday our Welcome to Eternity series ended with two more precious souls baptized into Christ! Adrienna Torez and Tiffany Morris both submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and we are rejoicing with them and their families. We praise God for how he's worked over these last six weeks and we look forward to more souls being saved in the next few weeks. Keep praying and we pray that these scriptures will inspire you!

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.

Isaiah 59:16 He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him.

Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

John 5:17 Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working."

As the holidays offically begin tomorrow remember that God will be working for the salvati

on of His creation. Keep praying and sowing seeds! Grace be with you.

Keep Fighting

The last three weeks of messages have moved some closer to eternity! One woman who heard the message yesterday told the person who brought her that she wanted to study the bible. God is moving through his word and it will not come back void. This is a great time to have great talks and be urgent. My nephew who just moved here from D.C. heard the message yesterday and said I need to get my life together. We are studying tomorrow!

Let's be in prayer for all those who are studying. We are in a battle for souls that belong to God and our adversary is furious! He's attacking the faith of the saints and sadly some are giving in but others are standing firm in their faith continuing to love the Lord their God with all of their heart.

DON'T GIVE IN AND DON'T GIVE UP! JESUS IS WORTHY OF YOUR DEVOTION.

Remember the words of Paul in 2 Cor 5:7 "We live by faith and not by sight." Grace be with you.

Names in the Book

Two weeks ago on thursday the 6th at 1:15 in the morning Lorenzo Morris was baptized into Christ! We couldn't help but think of the jailer who was baptized at midnight in the book of Acts and how the power of God was working mightily. As Lorenzo's wife and children looked on (the kids sleepy but taking it all in) there was a reverence in the air as we watched the Holy Spirit do His work.

Also we are rejoicing with the IU ministry as Josh Harkett was baptized into Christ last week! IU's football team may be tanking but the students are cranking. Welcome brothers! As we continue in our series please be praying for others who are studying. We'll be seeing some more splashing soon!

Why Am I Here?

Last week and Sunday was so encouraging as three people were baptized into Christ!  Blake King from Purdue, Amanda Stevenson from IU and Matt Barr from the Chapmans group.  Wow!  The hand of God is moving and what a blessing it is to see great things happening.  Also thanks to all who served on Sunday; Edwin and Kathy did the welcome, Brian Spaeth (Hope), Zach Laues prayer and Latrisha and Ally read poems.  Mike preached the word on the topic Why Am I Here and there were many who are studying who heard a great message urging them to give their lives to Jesus.  Also the singles and others went out door knocking on Friday night and Brett and Katie knocked on a gentleman’s door who came out on Sunday.  As it turns out I am studying with the guys son.   Incredible!  I can’t wait to share with my friend that his Father came out on Sunday (his son’s been working crazy hours).  It’s amazing how God works and we get to see exciting things as we are out there working with Him in his harvest field.  It’s going to be a great week!  Grace be with you.

Urgent!

The theme for yesterday was urgency and as Mike preached the word he helped us to see the heart of God when it comes to reaching out; snatch them from the fire!  The world has no convictions about salvation but from God’s perspective everyday is the DAY OF SALVATION.  As we gear up for our welcome to eternity series may God help us all to be urgent about the lost.  Also thanks to all that served yesterday; Chapmans did the welcome, Eric G and Causey read scripture, prayed and Ronice Rose and Kathy Sebo sang wonderful songs that blessed us all.  Finally for all those that are looking to be a part of the next married series we are collecting money for the next order of books.  You still can’t get them from Amazon so we’ll be ordering them from Singapore.  Thirty dollars per book is the cost.  Check with to us to sign up.  Have a great week and grace be with you!
